Non-creature spells can't be countered and non-creature permanents you control have indestructible.

Whenever you cast a non-creature spell, destroy target creature your opponents control with converted mana cost equal to that spells mana cost.

Any thoughts? I can see this having some strength with Jeskai creatures and Esper creatures.

Its pretty cool, but "non creature permanent you control have indestructible"? Thats kind of OP, but otherwise I love it.

The "can't be countered" ability should be separate from the "indestructible" ability. Also, the former should be worded "Noncreature spells you control can't be countered by spells or abilities." Those spells can still be countered by game rules if they require targets and have no legal targets on resolution.

I'm not even sure how you properly word the last ability.

Hmmm so rewrite it as:

Non-creature spells you control can't be countered by spells or abilities.

Non-creature permanents you control have indestructible (maybe a little less OP if it was hexproof?)

Whenever you cast a non-creature spell, destroy target creature an opponent controls.

And I think the white is really in the part where it's protecting your non-creature spells from being targeted and/or destroyed.

Ok yeah I should've rewritten it like that.

One more try:

Whenever you cast a non-creature spell, destroy target creature with that spells converted mana cost.

Came here, read the card. Intend to mention Celestial Kirin, and I get beaten to the punch.

Still, looks like a fun general. I would certainly test it out

the last ability should probably be along the lines of "with converted mana cost equal to X, where X is that spell's converted mana cost" seems kind of overpowered to me, but I could be wrong.

Ok so change the wording.

And since a lot of people have said its overpowered, maybe change the mana cost or instead of all noncreature permanents being indestructible they would be hexproof instead.

Then you could put the top two abilities into one: "Noncreature spells you control and noncreature permanents you control have hexproof."

The thing that strikes me here is that if you're going 4 color, then this creature should represent everything that green is not, and while hexproof exists in all the colors, it's primarily a green mechanic, and so doesn't make sense to make your non-creature permanents hexproof in this color scheme.

Maybe instead of that, play on some red mechanics, since there isn't much about this creature that embodies that color currently. Such as: "Creatures you control have haste, creatures your opponents control enter the battlefield tapped."

Ok hexproof was in there as a way of depowering it from indestructible. The thing is this guy is supposed to be promoting playing non-creature spells, which is blue and reds thing. For example, I see this being used for a instant and sorcery heavy deck. Which is a very red thing. as for hexproof, it's a very heavy blue thing as well. Which is why I thought it was also good.

Yes. Hexproof exists in all colors, but the wiki page for the mechanic states over half the cards with hexproof are green.

Sticking to the color wheel and your intent, then, perhaps:"RU: The next time you cast an instant ir sorcery spell this turn, copy that spell. You may pick new targets for the copy" with spells like Reverberate and Twincast that's much more I'm keeping with the color than hexproof. I'm in agreement that indestructible is a bit much.
