Hello everyone. I wanted to create a forum where your mind can be turned into reality. Here, you can create custom cards. If you create well enough cards, I will make them in to a custom made deck!
How does that sound? To make a deck to be seen by many just based on your ideas alone. Sounds pretty good to me.
Now, to start things off, I will create a card as a jumping off point. It's only a suggestion, so if you like it, then suggest sultai related cards. If you want to create another set of cards not even related, that's great too. All suggestions are welcome.
Anyway, here's my first card to throw into the ring.
Now, if you don't know how to create cards or just aren't good at it, I'll be to create them for you. Once we post enough suggestions, I'll create a custom deck/decks based on the cards created.
Now remember, these cards have to be balanced, so no ridiculously overpowered cards. We don't want to make WotC too jealous now. ;)

Hmm, I guess that's true. What about Death's Adivsor instead? It has a nice ring to it.

I think since the text is so long, there doesn't really need a flavor text. A lot of cards don't even have flavor to it.

@6tennis Were you asking if it was dimir because the cards I have been making aren't necessarily affiliated with previous magic cards?

Now since we changed Siara, would we need to change the Altar of Erebos too? I mean, if we change one, we'd need to change the other, don't you think?

The Alter seems like it should have a higher CMC.

It would be the same cost as Phyrexian Arena, so all in all, it would be pretty balanced.

I mean, Arena is like an $9 card. I for one think it should be at least the . What does everyone else think?

I think that might be a good idea. Also, what do you think the name should be? Mainly because none of the other cards are affiliated with any of the cards, I feel like it should fit with what we've been doing.
How does Altar of Darkness sound?
I also feel like it doesn't need to be legendary. Thoughts?

Yeah, doesn't need to be legendary, there are enough legendaries already being run in the deck.
Concerning the name, perhaps Ritual Altar? Or the one you said. Ritual Altar seems cool to me because it has to do with sackng creatures.

Sure, I like that. Maybe Ritualistic instead of Ritual. Idk if that sounds better or not. How does everyone else feel on the changes?

I too thought of Ritualistic, but wasn't sure if you'd like it. But since you do, I definitely agree it sounds better.

Also Ritual Alter doesn't work in my mind cause it should produce mana al a Dark Ritual, Cabal Ritual, and its ilk which all have the nick name of "Rituals".

I'm liking these changes so far. Ritualistic Altar actually sounds really cool. As for the CMC, I am not sure. I think it might be wise to keep it at 2B. Having to sac a creature is a pretty big drawback, and that discard effect is pretty bad as well. 2B seems fair for this one. Everyone else agree?

Well for the deck sacing a creature is a good thing. And the discard doesn't hurt the deck either because it can just get the card back.

There are actually many rituals besides mana producing ones. Deathreap Ritual, Exclusion Ritual, and even Midnight Ritual don't produce mana, so anything can be considered a ritual really.

Alright, but I don't want to spend too much time on just 1 card. We still have some creating to do. We are about 26 cards in total in the deck, not including lands. So we should focus on some other cards at the moment.

Just on a few cards. We made 12 brand new cards and some of them don't need 4ofs, Wonder Wish for example. We haven't even created a sideboard, so adding 4 would be useless, but 2 is still good in case we do.

As a side note, if we are the Snapcaster Apprentice, we need more card that exile stuff, not just Riteful Returned. I think we need some stuff with flashback.

What about making the land enter tapped unless you sac a creature. And the tap could be for , and a second ability could be:
: Add two mana to your mana pool in any combination of

I like for it to be able to sac a creature when it enters, I just don't know about the second ability you mentioned though.

The second ability is basically errata form of Sunken Ruins type lands.

Ooh, this is good stuff! I like Novice's suggestion, but I wanna make a change to it.
The ETB tapped unless sac thing is pretty neat, but that ability goes infinite. I also think it should be required for it to make black mana. It should be like this: ", T: Add or to your mana pool."
