Hey all.

Working on this deck has been a ton of fun, and currently I have Sidisi, Brood Tyrant as the leader with some tribal parts, but I'm willing to do any Sultai general.

What commander do you think best fits grinding out the game plus dredge in Sultai?

SBT is pretty solid. And the fact that she both supplies self mill and tokens is good. Other than that, Tasigur, the Golden Fang tends to lend himself to grindy builds.

depends on your strategy really although i do not rate sidisi that much as a commander. I think you will find tasigur fr more fun and interactive with the right build. Tasigur can also obtain a lot of value from the cards in your graveyard.

The Mimeoplasm is quite fun milling large creatures into your graveyard and then chumping them out for free. I will never forget minmioplasm coming in as a copy of haunted dragon gaining +9/+9 from a Terastodon and killing an opponent due to commander damage (they had already taken some)

Definitely Tasigur as enpc mentioned. He's also one of the more politically inclined commanders as an opponent gets to choose what is returned with his ability and this can be used to leverage a particular spell back into hand for a particular play. It's quite a bit of fun as well.

So for a more grindy deck you feel Tasigur is a better option?

SP3CTR3_chelts

Hm okay. I'll take the advice on Tasigur, thank you! Mimeoplasm is also interesting as he interacts with other's graveyards as well. Does he lend himself more to combo?

jaymc1130

Hm a lot of people saying Tasigur, I might just have to go with him! Thanks for the advice.

I’ve been considering Bridge from Below if you want a zombie token engine

I’ve also got a sidisi list that I’ve been tinkering for a while now, feel free to use it for inspiration You need a shower after playing this deck

I built a clone deck around the mimioplam but yes he does lend himself to combos more. If you are set on the grind I would agree with all the taisigur recommendations
