Thopter Sword Combo Out —Jan. 24, 2020
Decided to drop: - Sword of the Meek - Thopter Foundry - Ashnod's Altar
These cards, maybe Altar excluded, were almost always dead cards in my hand if I wasn't trying to combo with them, felt too awkward.
Added: - Vampiric Tutor - Mana Drain - Thought Vessel
All of these seem like better options. Plus the Thought Vessel is signed by RK Post so it's a cool little flex piece.
Maybe Gitaxian Probe instead of Opt ? Really good build !!!

Really solid build man. After a look through and a few playtests, I have a few swap ideas. First is Drown in the Loch. I'd cut it in favor of Counterspell or FoW. I get the modal dual purpose, but I think I'd rather have the straight counter. Also along those lines, idk about your meta but the GY hate seems a bit heavy. I'd entertain trimming down one of those type cards in favor of Paradoxical Outcome. Between the 0 costs and overall CMC of the deck, it could be a nice safety valve to Aetherflux if Dramatic Scepter gets blown up. Lastly is a small one but Smothering Tithe is just flat out good. I'd try to make room for it. Fantastic deck brew though as is man. Solid build!
