Great deck - looks like a lot of fun and budget to boot. One thing I would suggest is to throw in some more izzet sorceries/instants (think Epic Experiment), as they fit really well with Jeleva's theme.

Also consider bringing your mana curve down a bit - there's a lot of budget spells you can throw in the place of more expensive and unwieldy ones that would help you out in all phases of the game. 4.38 is awfully high for an average CMC.

Thanks for the suggestions - I replaced Death by Dragons and Necromantic Selection with Crosis's Charm and Consuming Vapors to try to bring the CMC down. I'm not certain about Epic Experiment; it would be amazing late game, but it doesn't interact with Jeleva.

No, it doesn't interact with Jeleva at all, but it's a similar enough effect and its a good enough spell that it sees play in just about every format (EDH especially). I actually rarely see a sorcery/instant heavy deck in U/R colors that doesn't have it.

Besides, you have many cards that don't interact with Jeleva so I'm not sure that it's a good reason not to have it in there.

Haha fair enough. Guess I'll take out Mizzium Transreliquat - it seems fun but interacts with practically nothing.
