Okay, so I've been toying with this deck for a while now, and I do conceit that it needs a little help here and there. I'm looking at taking out the 5 monuments. They just aren't doing enough. Also, not sure how I feel about Throne. It has a decent effect, but that only matters when creatures are tapped at the end of my turn, meaning I'm left a fair bit open. I don't like being open!

So I've looked over the suggestions others have given, and I love Pillar of the Paruns. That's likely added, no questions asked. Farseek seems like a good add too. But besides those I'm not too certain what could go in place of the artifacts. I'm open to suggestions!

Looks sweet.

A few things:

  1. Change the deck format to Commander.

  2. Cut a few nonland cards and add Pillar of the Paruns, Mana Confluence, and City of Brass.

  3. Cut a few of the Spirit Avatars.

How often do the auras work/fail for you? I haven't done any testing with mine but I figured I would find myself without anyone that is right to attach them to. You had a few board wipes I missed so thanks! Here is my version Got Gods?

@piemanDWI somehow remembering changing it to EDH, but I guess I clicked off and didn't save. Good catch.Besides that, I like the deck as is, and have already done considerable cutting and editing to add more lands. I'm comfortable where it is at, especially where any hand I have played stops caring about any sort of land after turn 15. I don't know how you play, but my EDH games are usually with 4-8 people, and its sort of hard to kill someone off earlier than that without totally screwing yourself in the process.

@neosapienAlmost every hand. They help with devotion a small bit, but the biggest thing is all the abilities I can tag onto Child. As stated above, giving it indy is really nice to have, but others like flying, lifelink, unblockable, deathtouch, first strike, or combinations works great in all the most apparent ways.

Almost no ramp in a five-color deck with only 35 lands and average converted mana cost 4+? How does that works out for you?

Because some ramp spells can be really specific, but good in your case. Thinking about Farseek, Shard Convergence, Nature's Lore...

@Karzalar I'm thinking about taking those suggestions as well for my deck a couple posts up. Mind taking a look at mine? I'm new to EDH, would definitely appreciate some tips
