Friday Night Magic - 9/5/2015 —Sept. 4, 2015

First/Second place finish (agreed to split prize pool for 1st and 2nd). Won 5 packs and a Orator of Ojutai promo.

Round 1 - Won 2-0 over mono-black deck.

Round 2 - Won 2-1 over a R/G dragons deck

Round 3 - Won 2-1 over a mono-red aggro deck

Round 4 - Agreed to draw against an Abzan Control so both of us would go to the final four.

Round 5 - Won 2-1 over a Sultai deck which featured creatures with large toughness and an enchantment that let them do damage equal to their toughness.

Round 6 - Same opponent that was in Round 4, agreed to split prize pool in order to leave early. Rolled a die to determine who got first place and the extra pack. He won the roll off.

I run a very similar deck and find no use for Nissa, Vastwood Seer  Flip. Games usually run so fast that I never got use for her. With Shaman of the Pack and Foul-Tongue Shriek do your heavy hitting for you I would suggest to add more of them. Or another Collected Company

Nissa, Vastwood Seer  Flip's purpose is to pull out a forest to thin the deck while at the same time providing a 2/2 elf body and a distraction for my opponents.

That's how I see Nissa, Vastwood Seer  Flip, too. I put the card down and forget about it while my opponent's trying to figure out how to kill it.

I like this set. When/what will you use Might of the Masses for? I tried it a bit without much success, but I might not have been using it right.
