Coiling Oracle or Wall of Omens —June 21, 2018

The struggle!!!

Which is better, Coiling Oracle or Wall of Omens?

Both of these cards have the same effect of drawing a card, with Coiling Oracle having the additional effect that the card if its a land enters the battlefield. It acts as ramp so that we can have a 4 cc play on t3 and can be an attacker although a rather bad one at that. However Wall of Omens is a much better blocker, easily dodges more common removal Lightning Bolt and when it does draw a card you do not need to reveal it.

Overall i think the biggest threat against this deck is aggro. Having reliable blockers is definitely a plus. while having the ability to ramp by t2 with Aether Vial to get 3 mana to have Spell Queller is also very good.

For now ill keep it a 3/3 split. I like having 6 card draw creatures/ramp/blockers.
