My style since Fourth ed.

  1. Mono color is best, two colors is the MAX!

  2. 70-90% of cards in decks should be 2 CMC or lower!

  3. Don't rely on combos, find good mechanics and abuse them.

  4. Cards for most decks:

Fetch lands are a must, drawing lands sucks.

Gitaxian Probe, Mishra's Bauble, Street Wraith, Manamorphose. Free vapor.
