Deckling -

Hi there, I'm Gage. I live in Orem, Utah and I play Casual stuff. I really like almost every casual variant and wish that Wizards would give some love to more of them. I get excited by weird combos and finding ways to use cards generally considered useless. Perhaps for this reason, I enjoy building budget decks, as I feel it forces you to get a bit more creative with your build (I rarely play Sol Ring in my commander decks, it's that.. good, bad? depends on your opinion.)

One of my favorite brews is my casual Tiana Aura deck where I use Tiana, Ship's Caretaker and Teferi's Care in conjunction with some odd auras to do all sorts of... stuff. It sometimes works! I also have a huge obsession with any graveyard-related deck. If a deck deals with the graveyard, it immediately catches my eye. Something about milling myself out just makes me happy.

I do have a "project" of sorts that I'm currently working on. I call it... The Tribal Wars! (It's not really all that good of a name, but I'm not the best at names, please help) What this is is me foolhardily trying to create a budget tribal commander deck for every creature type. Some of them look like they'd work, and some of them are piles of draft chaff. Here's the folder of decks, if you're interested. I'd love anyone's suggestions toward that whole thing.
