Vengeful dead + World destory effects
Asked by crncross 13 years ago
Lets say I have Vengeful Dead and 9 other zombies on the field and my opponent casts Day of Judgment ...does he lose 1 life or 10?
Like mozerdozer said, they all go "simultaniously" to the graveyard together. It's not like the Vengeful Dead would go before them, or after them, or anywhere in between. I had a similar scenario with attacking and blocking involving Goblin Chieftain and a bunch of goblins. My opponent thought he could declare blockers for Goblin Chieftain first and kill it before the other goblins, so that they would lose their +1/+1. But as all attacking and blocking is done "simultaniously" it is recongnized that they won't leave until all combat is dealt. I hope this may help you better understand the concept.

Same applies using Falkenrath Noble ... Use 4 at once with a Wrath of God effect and suddenly it's 4x4 life lost for the opponent and equal amounts gained for you due to all 4 of your nobles triggering together. If there's a fifth creature on the field under your or your opponent's control then it's game over assuming no life gained previously.
GG!
You chose how it resolves too, so you can have the rest enter the graveyard in your order and the trigger resolving however you like it.
It's quite nice.

If multiple creatures are put into the graveyard from the battlefield at once, they will 'see' each other go to the graveyard. This mean that Vengeful Dead's ability will trigger 10 times and your opponent will lose 10 life.
