Limitless mana and Prossh interaction EDH

Asked by themanofhat 9 years ago

So if i have a limitless mana combo like Composite Golem and Nim Deathmantle and Prossh, Skyraider of Kher is my commander and on the battlefield i have a sacrifice trigger like Goblin Sharpshooter can i theoretically continue to sacrifice prossh and just keep casting him the same turn for unlimited tokens?

Goblin Sharpshooter doesn't have an on-sacrifice ability, and you aren't sacrificing Prossh, Skyraider of Kher, but the idea is essentially correct. You can continually ping Prossh, Skyraider of Kher to death and recast it for more and more tokens. You do have to specify a number of times, though.

To answer the question, yes you can sacrifice Prossh to re-cast him to get functionally infinite tokens.

  • You do however have a few problems in the set-up to your question. Composite Golem cannot be in a Prossh deck since his color identity is .

  • Goblin Sharpshooter is not a sacrifice outlet.

Well first of all, you can't have Composite Golem in a deck with Prossh, Skyraider of Kher as the commander. The colour identies don't match, because Composite Golem has mana symbols on it, whereas Prossh only has .

Second, how would you sacrifice Prossh here? His ability specifies you need to sacrifice another creature. So no.

no. Prossh, Skyraider of Kher says on the card "sacrifice another creature" meaning you can not sac Prossh, Skyraider of Kher with its own effect.

you would need a card other than Prossh, Skyraider of Kher to sacrifice Prossh, Skyraider of Kher over and over on the same turn to do what u want to do

hope this helps =)

@Epochalyptik yea i know u can. i was just answering the question of "can i theoretically continue to sacrifice prossh and just keep casting him the same turn for unlimited tokens"

u can not sacrifice prossh with what he said. u can kill it off with Goblin Sharpshooter but not sacrifice it. Then again u can not have Composite Golem in a deck with Prossh, Skyraider of Kher as the commander so the combo dont work at all since he wont have limitless mana to keep casting Prossh, Skyraider of Kher lol.

sorry for any confusion
