Is this infnite?

If I have Lutri, the Spellchaser on the battlefield and I play Mystic Reflection into Forbidden Friendship, Is Forbidden Friendship still on the stack when the token enters the battlefield as a copy of lutri and can I copy the friendship?

The copies of Lutri would not even trigger because you did not cast them. Even if they did trigger, their triggers wouldn’t go on the stack until Friendship fully resolved, which at that point it’d be in your graveyard and not a legal target to copy.

Also, Mystic Reflection can’t even target a legendary creature, so that’s unfortunately a big “No” on the infinite potential.

Also something to keep in mind is the legend rule stating along the lines of: If a player creates a copy of a legendary creature, he/she must choose either the original or the copy and remove the other (Not exact rule text but roughly, look it up for more precise wording).

There are some cards however that will state "Copy is not legendary if the original is" I.E. Helm of the Host (again, look up actual rule text for clarity).

Reidzee757, it’s a state based action that says if a player controls more than one legendary permanent of the same name, they pick one and the rest are put into their owner’s graveyards.

And yes, card text supersedes the rules at all times. Spark Double specifically states that it will not be legendary if the copied permanent is legendary. On the other hand, cards specifically say they will retain their legendary status, ie Lazav, Dimir Mastermind and Sakashima the Impostor.

Outliers that straight up deny the legend rule, being Sakashima of a Thousand Faces, and Mirror Gallery
