If you flash in gaddock teeg with an aether vial, in response to a card like supreme verdict, does the verdict reolve?

this may seem like a stupid question, but i just need to make sure. Any advice or answers will be appreciated

First off.

Gaddock Teeg

AEther Vial

Supreme Verdict

Secondly...yes, Gaddock prevents cards with CMC 4+ from being cast, but since Supreme Verdict had already been cast and is sitting on the stack your Kithkin Advisor will simply get swept away when it resolves.

Yep. You cast something, then it goes on the stack, then everyone can respond to it. Unless you use AEther Vial to put out Gaddock Teeg before the Supreme Verdict is cast, the Supreme Verdict has already been cast, so he can't stop it.

You can stop it, however, if you use a card like Rootborn Defenses or ready/willing, which make you creatures indestructable. They are both white/whitegreen so if you are using a Gaddock Tegg, you will be able to use both of these.
