I was wondering if you played Nefarious Lich and somehow gave it to your opponent (such as card:Puca's Mischief) then use a Boomerang card to return it to your hand, would your opponent lose the game?

At the time it leaves the battlefield, it's under the opponent's control, therefore i would think the last ability would trigger against them. But since it goes to my hand, I wasn't sure.

If because it goes to my hand, it wouldn't work, could you destroy it instead? (Disenchant )

From my understanding, yes they would lose the game.

Your interpretation is correct:

109.5. The words "you" and "your" on an object refer to the object's controller...For a triggered ability, this is the controller of the object when the ability triggered...
So Boomerang or Disenchant away, you nefarious non-lich.

i thought about bazaar trader. but then you have to have something to change its type too. why add the extra card?sticking with blue would give you more drawing (searching) power.
