friend deck

So my friend has this red-black deck that's pretty good and has a lot of burn cards, and always destroys my key card Mourning Thrull . His black cards are also pretty good and his creatures are awesome! What's a pretty good intro deck that can kill this deck?(with a few adjustments)

arobidoux is right, it's going to be very difficult to make suggestions unless people know more about what cards are in your friend's deck.

Make a Merfolk deck with say three syg the river guide and a couple changelings with flying, the deck will have to be blue and IF you can get your hands on the lorwyn Merfolk deck + ten bucks or so you may be in business.

My first ever deck was a B/R one that burnt and blew up things too. If you run Mourning Thrull s though, you can try cards that hinder attacks like card:Norn's Annex, cards that come back from the grave like Reassembling Skeleton , and if you can get your hands on one, Lightning Greaves or Sword of War and Peace would support Mourning Thrull beautifully
What kind of creatures does he run though? Mine used small vamps like Pulse Tracker and things, but knowing what cards he has would be useful for us to help you!
And remember, its all about doing your own thing, so feel free to chuck this advice out the window! :D

Well, it's going to be pretty hard to determine what type of deck can beat your friends RB deck without knowing what he has in his deck, but mostly a deck that has some protection from black or red, cards with shroud, etc would help you.
