Firesong Combo

If I equip Firesong and Sunspeaker with Loxodon Warhammer and then cast Chandra's Ignition on it, would I gain life twice?

Firesong and Sunspeaker + Loxodon Warhammer... I don't see any reason why this doesn't work. If you cast Lightning Bolt and both firesong and Warhammer r out and equip, you just deal 3 damage from the spell and the gain 3 life from the spell. Like it has lifelink. But if you cast Starlight gaining 9 life, firesong then deals 3 damage. Because firesong is doing the damage you gain life from him having lifelink. Gaining another 3 life. And that ends the loop

But it will not work with Chandra's Ignition just like he or she said before me

Simply put Chandra's Ignition does not do any damage. Firesong does the damage. Chandra's Ignition did not cause any damage. Therefore you don't get the lifelink part written on firesong

I don't think so. In this case, the source of the damage is the Firesong and Sunspeaker (who does have lifelink) however the Chandra's Ignition itself is not dealing any damage.
It's the same if you use Chandra's Ignition on an infect creature, you deal damage in the form of -1/-1 and poison counters since it's coming from the creature.
