Does tutoring Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider with Yisan, the Wanderer Bard double the verse counters?

Would this cause the next activated verse to go to 8 counters instead of 7 due to Vorinclex being on the field? I know this doesnt work with Doubling Season but Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider is worded differently.
Vorinclex reads "If you would put one or more counters on a permanent or player, put twice that many of each of those counters on the permanent or player instead". Like Doubling Season, that ability is a static ability and therefore is only pertinent while he is on the field.
Yisan, the Wanderer Bard reads "2G Tap, Put a verse counter on Yisan: Search your library..." This is an activated ability, so you must pay all the costs before the ability will trigger and let you search. One of these costs is placing the counter on him, so the counter will already have been placed and resolved by the time you are allowed to search for Vorinclex.
So no doubling the first time, but each time after that if Vorinclex is still on the field it will double the counters.

Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider will double the counters you put on Yisan, yes. However, it won't double when you tutor for Vorinclex because the verse counter is placed before Vorinclex comes into play.
