Does Land fetching count as drawing cards?

If I sacrifice [embodiment of spring] to search for a land from my library, would my [Chasm skulker] get a +1+1 counter?Same question with [Ordeal of nylea], but would that count as two draws?

Nope. Drawing a card means, well, drawing a card. Taking the top card of your library and putting it into your hand.

Divination would trigger Chasm Skulker since you are drawing cards, but you're just searching your library with Embodiment of Spring and Ordeal of Nylea.

Basically, card draw only happens when at the beginning of the draw phase or when a card specifically says "draw X cards" or "draw a card". Revealing cards, searching your library for cards and putting them into play is not card draw and Chasm Skulker will not get counters in the cases you mentioned.

Sidenote, fetching a land with Embodiment does not count towards your general " play only 1 land card per turn" limit.

tl;dr: No to both.

According to MTG WIKI:

A player draws a card by putting the top card of his or her library into his or her hand. Card drawing may also be done as part of a cost or effect of a spell or ability. If an effect moves cards from a players library to that players hand without using the word draw, the player has not drawn those cards. This makes a difference for abilities that trigger on drawing cards or that replace card draws, as well as if the players library is empty. The colors of color pie makes different use of card drawing.

What makes me doubt is the following rule:120.5. If an effect moves cards from a player's library to that player's hand without using the word "draw," the player has not drawn those cards. This makes a difference for abilities that trigger on drawing cards and effects that replace card draws, as well as if the player's library is empty.

But the mentioned cards move them directly to the battlefield, not to the hand. And nothing is mentioned in the rules about this.

I also believe that this wouldn't count as a card draw, but i want to be sure.

Ok, then. Seems that it doesn't count as drawing cards. Thanks a lot to both of you!

@Chino90: I've highlighted the important bit from the wiki.

Although the physical action of putting a card into your hand is the same as the physical action of drawing a card, they have different game definitions.

in case you're wondering what it means to put a card into your hand without technically drawing look at this fine chap Dark Confidant, he puts a card in your hand, you don't draw
