Does Food Chain create colored mana with tokens?

It's said Prossh, Skyraider of Kher + Food Chain creates an unlimited recasting of Prossh. So my question is, can Food Chain create colored mana to recast Prossh by exiling the tokens for colored mana? The tokens don't have a mana cost. So, does the "plus one" refer to an extra colored mana, or is it one extra colorless mana like Birthing Pod ? If it produces colorless mana then the combo is only limited unless one controls Phyrexian Altar or Earthcraft .
Oracle text for Food Chain
Exile a creature you control: Add X mana of any one color to your mana pool, where X is the exiled creature's converted mana cost plus one. Spend this mana only to cast creature spells.
A token's CMC is 0, so its CMC +1 is 1. You can get 1 mana of any color by exiling a token with Food chain, which easily gives you the colored mana for Prosh.

I should specify that a token that is not a copy of a nontoken permanent has a CMC of 0. For completeness sake.

It creates x of 1 coloured mana. So if you do it, you will get mana = Prossh CMC of 1 colour. Then you can exile each token to get 1 mana of any colour.
