Do enchantments stay on creatures if they are flickered

Asked by Nuubi 6 years ago

If I were to use Roon of the Hidden Realm to flicker a creature(exile it and bring it back at end step) with an enchantment equipped to the creature being flickered, would the enchantment be sent to the grave since it’s considered a new creature or does the enchantment flicker with it?

The aura will become unattached and go to the graveyard. When an object changes zones, the game treats it as a totally new object with no relation to what it was before (except for a few exceptions needed to make things work properly; they don't apply in this situation). In this situation, as far as the game is concerned, the creature that the aura used to be attached to is gone.

An aura will only be flickered along with the object it's attached to if the flickering effect specifically says to do that ( Flickerform , Tawnos's Coffin , Oubliette ). Otherwise it stays on the battlefield.

Would a creature lose +1/1 or -1/1 counters if it was flickered with Roon? Appreciate your input!

Yes, counters also go away unless specifically stated. Roon doesn't specifically state that counters remain, so they get "left behind" when the creature is flickered.
