Decking out...

When do you die if you deck out. If my opponent Blue Sun's Zenith 's me for 1000, do i die instantly since i can't draw 1000 cards, do i die at my draw step, since that's the time, or do i survive, but when i have no library and my opponent makes me draw 3 with Ancestral Recall or something, do i die then. i mean, a.) if i have a library but have to draw more cards than in it, b.) when i can't draw IN DRAW STEP, or c.) whether it's when i can't draw when i have no library when i start trying at any time. Also, does decking out make a difference as to when i die than drawing.
You die immediately, because you can't draw that many cards so as soon as you draw past the last card you lose.

the only exception is using a Laboratory Maniac . in this case instead of lose you will win =D

i'm almost tempted to change the accepted answer to that one pumpkinsword. That was hilarious.

Except it'd have to be 1008, since you draw 7, draw 1 in your draw step plus the 1000 they make you draw :D

1020~ish, actually: 7 card opening hand, plus the 1 in each draw step until they hit their Blue Sun's Zenith that is worth 1000UUU, and then those 1000 cards...

Btw even if something happened that would make you win the game as you draw the cards (say the opponent is at 5 life and the first card you draw is a Thunderous Wrath and you haven't drawn anything that turn, or Psychosis Crawler is on your field, etc.), whatever effect would happen doesn't go on the stack until the zenith finished resolving, and not before SBAs were checked - namely, losing because you had to draw from an empty library. So you'd finish drawing, lose from not being able to draw, and then the abilities or spells would go on the stack (but if you've lost, any effects or spells you would control go away, only things from other players triggered by your drawing would actually have a chance to resolve).

A player loses when they have to draw, whether that be from the draw step, or in this case when your opponent casts blue sun's zenith on you for 1000. You would draw each individual card separately (though without time to respond in between draws) and then when you fail to be able to draw, you would lose the game.
Hope that helps!
