Can you activate Deadeye Navigator more than once per turn?

Deadeye Navigator

Or maybe my question is, can you only soulbond something when it enters the battlefield? Say I soulbonded it to a Thragtusk , I can activate the ability as soon as they become soulbonded. So I exile Thragtusk and bring him back onto the field. Now can I soulbond a different creature on the field to Deadeye Navigator or can I only re-bond with Thragtusk since he is entering the BF again?

Obviously as long as I re-bond him, I can repeat process each time leaving a trail of beast tokens behind as long as I have the mana to do so, but I am just wondering how the bonding process works.

Alas, I realize it was a dumb question, I would have to blink the Thragtusk then rebond it when it re-entered the BF, then blink the Deadeye Navigator rebonding it to another creature before I could then blink that one. Correct?

yes, you can do this. remember that once the thragtusk is exiled, the navigator loses the ability to dodge removal. you may exile the navigator in response to exiling the thragtusk. also remember that there are better and less expensive ways to achieve this sort of combo in standard. Ghostly Flicker , Cloudshift , and of course Restoration Angel .

Unclosed tags.

So that makes all of the rest of the text on the page italic? Weird.

Yep. It also happens with font color tags if you forget to close them or close them incorrectly. Had it happen on my trade binder for a bit until I realized I'd closed with /color instead of /font.

I just like italics :) Also, yes, there are cheaper ways to achieve the effect, but not many as consistent as Deadeye Navigator when you want to do this to multiple creatures with the same card

We're working on fixing the tags business.

i can't believe no one caught this yet. once you exile Thragtusk , Deadeye Navigator is free. when Thragtusk reenters, the navigator's ability triggers and you can choose if you want to rebond them. its similar to if thragtusk dies. doesn't mean navigator can only bond with the thragtusk in your graveyard.

oh and in order for the navigator to bond with another creature, either the navigator or the other creature has to reenter the battlefield

Nope, and if you exile the navigator once it's rebonded to the tusk, its re-entering the battlefield and can be bonded with another creature as well, and that creature can be flickered again if you have the mana, super useful for if you have a tusk and a Centaur Healer on the BF

ok. i'm confused. your question is can I only re-bond with Thragtusk since he is entering the BF again? and i replied with once you exile Thragtusk , Deadeye Navigator is free. when Thragtusk reenters, the navigator's ability triggers and you can choose if you want to rebond them. its similar to if thragtusk dies. doesn't mean navigator can only bond with the thragtusk in your graveyard. and Eutow said that yes. you can do this which i'm assuming is referring to "i can reflicker thragtusk with navigator" but that doesn't answer your originial question...

and what is that nope referring to?

To the end of your first statement, you posted again before I got done typing. I knew that was going to mess everything up.

when you said, "doesn't mean navigator can only bond with the thragtusk in your graveyard."

I was saying, basically that you were correct.
