Arcane Bombardment and Cathartic Reunion

If I’m casting a copy of Cathartic Reunion exiled with Arcane Bombardment do I discard the 2 cards even though I don’t pay the mana cost?

Yes, you have to discard the cards. A spell's "mana cost" is specifically the symbols printed in the upper right corner of a standard Magic frame. When an effect allows you to cast a spell "without paying its mana cost", that's the only part you get for free. You still have to pay any mandatory additional costs, and if you want to add on something optional like kicker, etc. then you have to pay for that as well.
