Can't remove my own comment on someone else's deck

So someone posted a deck and asked for suggestions. They then shot down every single suggestion made by everyone, but in ways that don't make much sense and very angrily/snarkily. It began to feel like they had just done this to inflate their own ego. I kind of gave into that and responded with snark, but I'd rather not my last response on someone else's deck list be like that... but I don't see an option to remove my comment or even edit it.

I think if another comment is posted after yours, or if a certain amount of time elapses, you can’t edit/remove your own comments at that point. I could be wrong though, that’s just a guess.

I tried right afterwards. Instant regret lol.

There doesn't appear to be any menus or anything with comments, just the comment number.

Tone doesn't translate well through text. I'm assuming you're referring to the Halvar, God of Battle  Flip list you commented on. Also, just because someone dismisses your suggestion does not mean they were being snarky or had ill intentions. Honestly, it just seemed like they have put the hours into testing and tuning and knows what will work and what will not. That is one of the most popular lists on the site I doubt they need an ego boost or to seek validation. I'm sure it'll be archived soon enough but if it really bothers you I'm sure a mod/admin could remove it.

Oh, it wasn't that they dismissed my suggestion, it was that they dismissed EVERYONE's suggestions and often used caps or bolded text or italics to get their meanings across like I just did. People typically don't do that unless they are frustrated or are trying to be mean and chase someone off.

Like, I don't spend a lot of time on this site but I playtest and play a lot and have for many, many, many years and have several people I play with that played in the paid tournament scene. Still though, I may not make a great suggestion and I get that. If someone just doesn't like a suggestion or thinks it doesn't fit or whatever and says "no thanks" with/without an explanation or just completely ignores it then whatevs. If the responses to suggestions come with reasonings that don't make mathematical or practical sense then... still whatevs, that's on them. But then to go through all that effort, on every single post suggesting changes when that's what they said they were looking for... was just more than a little grating and I sadly gave into it.

Either way, I'd like to remove the comment because I'm trying to actively not engage in a negativity cycle. It's too easy these days. Thanks!

jamochawoke it’s the internet, if they don’t like your suggestions just move on.

I agree. That's why I wanted to delete my post lol. It's not asking for too much is it?

Wish I knew how to delete, but just know that the user you're talking about is super abrasive and has been for some time. Don't take it personally.

True, true.

That doesn't help me delete my post though lol.
