ive decided to save theros up but i just came back into standard am debating if its worth dumping money or trades into cards that will rotate in oct
It's really not that long until rotation. If it's going to take you 2 months to get the cards then you won't have long left to play with them. I just pulled out a random number but effectively, you need to make that decision yourself based on how long it will take you to buy them all.

Yeh, I would. There's a lot of great stuff coming out this summer anyway that you can buy in the interim period.
At the moment I literally just buy shocklands for investment.

Shocklands and maybe Sphinx's Revelation at rotation. Rev has been starting to see some fringe play in modern

Shocklands, Abrupt Decay , Deathrite Shaman , Supreme Verdict , Detention Sphere and possibly Voice of Resurgence along with the aforementioned Sphinx's Revelation are good buys because they are eternal staples. Other than that if you arnt really looking to play competitive standard I wouldnt spend my time getting standard cards.
