Dissolve vs Dissipate?

With the reprint of Dissipate in M15 some decks running counters may run into a problem: How many to run and which one to run? They are both great counters in their own right...Dissolve lets you set up your next draw. Dissipate removed the threat from the game entirely, which can be a big deal with the B/G builds running around right now. Running both seems like a clunky option with the 3 cmc on both. Who is going to run which one, or are you gong to do a 2/2 split or 3/3 even? We still have access to Syncopate , which is still a great spell and hits turn 2 sometimes, so maybe a 3/3 split between Dissolve and Syncopate will be my weapon of choice for now. What about you all?

3CMC on a counter isn't bad. Especially when the only alternative is Syncopate for that second counter...

If you're running pure control, there's no reason no to run both. Most pure control decks will run 6-8 counters minimum. And quite honestly, Syncopate is extremely underwhelming in most matchups. It's good t2, maybe t3. After that, it's just a strictly worse Dissipate .

Dissolve is better until there are spells that need to be countered and exiled at the same time,
The added Scry from Dissolve , when combined with the Scry lands you're playing and your card-draw in control, is too valuable to cut just because someone somewhere might play a Soul.
Even Dissipate against G/B Dredge is "meh" since their graveyard as a whole is what's threatening, not individual cards.

Dissolve is better 99% of the time.
If people start running Souls, run Dissipate. It's mainly a meta call, but in a bubble Dissolve is better.
