Would non-Human Planeswalkers mutate on Ikoria?

I don't follow much lore anymore. I was wondering, if a Planeswalker who isn't Human - such as Ajani, Angrath, Kiora or Tamiyo, visited Ikoria, would they be at risk of violently mutating? Possibly losing their "Humanity" but gaining additional powers from it?

Isn't Ikoria's "mutation" analogous to the mutation of real living organisms, by random adaptation? I.e., evolution?

I could be wildly off the mark here, this is just my own limited perception.

Omniscience_is_life, I thought the idea with Ikoria was something that had to do with those crystals, causing rapid and enormous leaps in evolution, causing "mutations" in non-Human creatures? So while you are correct, that it is the evolutionary process, it's equally true that it doesn't take generations to happen - it occurs instantaneously, relatively speaking.

At least that was my understanding of it all. We see it in the Ikoria trailer when Obosh, the Preypiercer mutates before Vivian.

Sarkhan the Masterless even got himself and other planeswalkers mutated in Standard with that +1 from time to time.

Not sure if that's consistent with the lore though.

I don't think so. Besides maybe bolas and ugin. All of the other ones are super close to humans so I don't think they would mutate. They just couldn't put that mutate didn't effect humans elves merfolk ect.

What about Ashiok, or Ob Nixilis, or the hypothetical centaur planeswalker? The apex monsters (Iluna and friends) all appear to have some level of sapience.
