Wondering if Unwinding Clock will untap an artifact creature with summoning sickness...
i.e. if you have Unwinding Clock on the battlefield and then play an artifact creature, during your opponents upkeep will it untap?
Thanks!
Thanks for the comment, I forgot that "summoning sickness" does not equal "tapped" ..great catch!

It would untap Rusted Sentinel , however, so it could block. Not that it isn't a still terrible card.

It's not a terrible card.
.>It's a multiplayer artifact deck card.

Clearly you've never played against a good Esper deck. Artifact lands + Master of Etherium + Master Transmuter s untapping every upkeep = bad.

Hmm. Slight misunderstanding. Rusted Sentinel , even with Unwinding Clock , is still terrible. Unwinding Clock is fantastic! Bring on the Steel Overseer madness!

Unless stated on the card or by some other effect (such as Urabrask the Hidden ), your permanents don't come into play tapped. Some people do play their creatures tapped as a reminder but it is unnecessary.
And to answer what I think is your real question: No, you still won't be able to use your creatures' activated abilities until they have begun your turn in the battlefield.
