im running a blue white control legacy deck i want to put ponder in but they both have their positives obviously but in the long run wich would be better for speed because im trying to draw cards that i need asap as oppose to taking time?
yea i was thinking of doing both but 4 of each in that case is a bit excessive lol. its a blue white isochron/ stasis control deck (yes it does work i use it often) just need to get lands and stasis out asap to stall then boomerang it back up set my self up restasis repeat untill i can kill

cawblade in legacy uses brainstorm sfm and jace2. but thats also called stoneblade.
It runs on cantrips and not many actual draw spells.

crap, forgot something.
If your going to do uw control in legacy you need fow and jace and brainstorm. Look at the bw stoneblade deck. its a much better design.

Preordain doesn't have as much digging power, but the scry to put stuff on the bottom out of the way is invaluable.
ponder is powerful, but preordain creates more convenience more often (in my usage)

I didn't realize you had brainstorm in addition, I'd just run the preordains. Like theemptyquiver said; Scry is good.

Fabricate to dig up a scepter (just in case) or the enchantment tutor for Stasis (sorry, can't remember its name)

Personally I am a fan of 2 of each.
