Are there any combos thay allow you to copy instants or sorceries infinitely? Im pretty sure there is an artifact that if you pay 3 it will copy an instant or sorcery.

If you can make an infinite mana combo (just find one theres a lot out there) and then cast an instant or sorcery there are cards that copy it without tapping, so with the right mana a card like Nivix Guildmage can copy a spell infinitely.

In standard at the moment, there is an infinite combo with Elite Arcanist , Triton Tactics , and Zhur-Taa Druid . I think the card you are thinking of is Isochron Scepter .

Epochalyptik should probably move this to the general forum. This part of the website is for rules-related questions.

You are probably thinking of Mirari . However Mirari only triggers once when you cast a spell, meaning that you can only produce one copy, even with infinite mana

Mirari was the card i was originally thinking of. I have 2x Isochron Scepter and have been trying to find some combos with it for my deck Legacy of the Firemind. Its a very casual deck and i just want it to be as OP as I can possibly make it. Comments are welcome on that deck by the way.

The question I was trying to get at I guess know that I know the name of the card (Mirari ) can the 3 be paid as many times as I have the mana or can it only be played once?

The ability only goes onto the stack once so you can only copy it once

I actually built a deck around copying spells infinitely in Innistrad/RTR standard. You can have a look and see how I did it: OVERKILL!!!

Nivix Guildmage or Djinn Illuminatus are probably the most notable cards that allow you to copy a spell for as much mana as you can gather. For cheaper instants/sorceries, Izzet Guildmage is cheaper to copy with than Nivix Guildmage .

What about the Boros reckoner combo if you give it lifelink and indestructibility, also, Sanguine Bond and Exquisite Blood
