How to deal with reanimator decks

General forum

Hey guys so for quite a while now I've been playing a grixis midrange/control deck at my local friday night magic. Generally the deck performs well against most other decks i have come up against considering it is not a T1 deck. I seem to have a great deal of trouble dealing with reanimator decks and recently I have been seeing more and more of them. I've tried running slaughter games and I've tried running cremate. I've tried running both of them together but they are still very inconsistent and my deck still has no good answer to reanimator decks. Do you guys have any advice on how to consistently deal with reanimator decks using grixis colors?

Rakdos Charm also works if you need to exile their graveyard at instant speed. card:Grafdigger's Cage shuts down Unburial Rites in general.

For grixis there isnt much. card:Grafdigger's Cage and Rakdos Charm are about it. Cremate maybe sometimes.

card:Tormod's Crypt and Rakdos Charm are good but can only help so much. card:Grafdigger's Cage is your best bet against re-animator decks. It will stay on the feild and hinder them for the the rest of the game if left intact.

This one might not be as obvious, but if they're not reanimating hexproof creatures, you can always take them for yourself with Olivia Voldaren (as long as you can tap for all that mana).
