Can someone explain to me exactly how to use Helvault ??? I have had it lying around since I pulled it and honestly have no idea how to use it.

Not at all haha. It's a terrible card. Best idea is exile your own stuff then Worldfire .

Except Worldfire won't bring back those exiled permanents.

so you could lay down a Helvault , exile a 1/1 haste creature, next turn lay down a Worldfire and win the game?

No. Helvault must go to a graveard to return what was exiled with it. Worldfire exiles it, so nothing comes back.

planar cleansing would work, for one less mana too. Although that would beat the purpose of having it be a haste creature. lol

I use Helvault with Sneak Attack in my Kaalia of the Vast EDH. Helvault is just a card you put on the field and keep some mana open in case someone kills your creature. Better exiled with helvault than in the graveyard.

I use it in my Reaper King deck. along with things to untap artifacts, so I'm exiling something all the time. Then Smelt it and get a crazy amount of creatures.

I think that's the point of Helvault . Easy escapes when something unwanted would happen to your creatures, with the added bonus of being able to get your opponent's best creatures. Then you can bust open the Helvault at leisure and all the creatures you locked up inside come rampaging out.
