How Good is Leyline Prowler?

I am contemplating putting Leyline Prowler into several of my EDH decks that contain the colors black and green, replacing a mana rock, since I believe that it would be very beneficial for those decks, but I would like to ask for advice, before I do that, so I am starting this thread, for that reason.
What does everyone else say, about this? How good is Leyline Prowler?
Unless you're also in Blue it's an outright awful card compared to just playing something like Wood Elves to get a land and give you a body. Bonus advice, if I have access to Green I generally play very few mana rocks, Green has great land ramp at low to mid power, and some people happily play Nature's Lore type cards in high power. The reason it's a BIT better in Blue is you could be holding up a counter. Hope this helps!

I think it's a draft card. I think that's where it belongs

Not being combative or silly, just a thought: I think it’d be an include for me. 3cmc is good for a mana rock, a 2/3 deathtouch is solid and easily good enough to counterbalance the fact that you can’t immediately tap it for mana, and lifelink is not always easy to come across in those colors. Add a cool creature type? Even better. I think it’s worthy.

Full disclosure: I usually don’t play mana rocks (I have an aversion to using the giant block of “auto-includes” that make most decks extremely similar) and I’m too lazy to tutor more than MAYBE once… so (as always) my takes on here are generally a little suspect ;p

The reason that I am considering Leyline Prowler is that nearly every deck that I have that contains black and green has effects that allow me to profit when creatures die, and the prowler has deathtouch, and those decks also allow me to sacrifice my own creatures for various benefits, so having one additional creature for sacrificing is always nice.

It's a pretty decent card for very casual play because it's kind of a multi-purpose card but other people are right in that it's objectively not a good choice, since it performs badly on most of the things it does do in comparison to other cards of its type. Deathtouch can be found on much cheaper creatures (that would work better with reanimation anyway), there are much cheaper mana dorks, etc.
It's really only a card you'd bring to low to low-mid level games. Even in mid level games you'll probably want to refine that card slot a little.

RiotRunner789, in any deck in which I would wish to put Leyline Prowler, I have ways to give my creatures vigilance and/or untap them, so that should not be a major issue, for me, and deathtouch shall help to put creatures into my opponents' graveyards, which is good, because all the decks in which I would wish to put that creature can use graveyards as resources.

unless you're untapping at instant speed with a card in hand, most people won't attack into a blocker with deathtouch. and in that situation, it's probably better to just use a removal spell than an untap spell.

Sliverguy420, that makes sense, so, perhaps, I do not need to put Leyline Prowler into my decks, after all, in the case.

Not very. He's expensive for a Mana dork and dies to any board wipe.
The nightmare may be good if you only occasionally need the mana, allowing for a deathtouch deterant (with deathtouch completely irrelevant if you use the mana on your turn). It's niche at best.
