Making Helvault not suck

So I was thinking about the whole "Not all cards are good, but all cards can be made good" state of mind, and thought of Helvault . Something so cool and powerful in the Lore, and something so badass looking... that sucks. My challenge is to make a deck based around using Helvault that is at least somewhat viable in a casual environment. Here are a few ideas to get you started:

Worldfire
Rings of Brighthearth
Power Artifact

Now go, Decklings, and create!

An interesting way to play with and still stay true to it's meaning would be to maintain its "creature prison" theme but make it more awesome. How about...

2, Tap: Exile target creature you control and target creature an opponent controls. Return all creatures exiled this way to play under their owner's control when Helvault leaves play. Any player may play this ability.

Tap, Pay 1 life, Sacrifice a creature: Add one mana of a color of your choice to your mana pool for each creature exiled by Helvault.

I don't believe the idea was to remake the card. I believe it was to make a deck using the card that doesn't suck. Similar to all of these Maze's End decks.

How would Worldfire work with Helvault ? It must go to the graveyard, but worldfire would exile it.

HELLVAULLLLT!!!!!! was a deck for TheLameSauce's Lame Challenge #1 that may need some tweaking to be better for this, but still works to some extent for this.
