2-2 at FNM —May 30, 2015

The first test of this deck at FNM was a pretty big success, and here are the results:

Round 1: VS RDW (2-0)

This deck put out more tokens then they can deal damage. The second game he stared to buff up the board with tokens, bit End Hostilities dealt with that pretty well.

Round 2: VS Esper Dragon Control (1-2)

This round was really close. This deck won the first game, but after sideboarding, just couldn't deal with Dragonlord Ojutai and a ton of counter spells. It almost won in game 3, he was down to 3 life with a Wall of Frost, while I had 4 soldier tokens and a Mardu Woe-Reaper. When I attacked for three to finish it, he happened to top deck a Bile Blight, killing my tokens, and it was all downhill from there.

Round 3: VS Dash and Burn (No Warriors Allowed) (2-0)

Once again, this deck is great against rdw, and this was no exception. It was pretty much a clean sweep, no contest.

Round 4: VS Mardu Dragons (0-2)

This is where the land failed me. It was a pretty close first game, until he dropped Crux of Fate when he had two dragons on the field. Game 2 was bad. My first had had 3 land, but nothing with converted mana cost below 5, so I did a mulligan to 6.1 land, and all creatures, not worth it, so I did another mulligan to 5. 1 land and some low spells + Heliod, God of the Sun, and I wasn't going to 4, so I kept it. The second land never came.

I will have to test this deck some more, but it has turned out great, and I hope for it to do better in the future.
