After playing a few games with Soul of Windgrace at the helm, I've encountered a problem. OG Windgrace doesn't discriminate what cards you need to discard while Soul of Windgrace does. While the Soul provides more options with what to do with discarded lands, the fact that you specifically need a land to discard is what makes the Soul a bit more off-putting as a commander. However, the Soul does wonders in the 99 of this deck. The Soul has effectively replaced Court of Bounty.
A rather unassuming uncommon makes the cut in this deck: Sprouting Goblin. It does what Nissa, Vastwood Seer Flip does but better! It also helps that this little goblin has great synergy with Korvold and Gitrog.
Lastly, Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer. I have no particular reason for placing this monkey in the deck other than the fact that I pulled it from a pack. I simply wanted to play with card and all it does is draw out removal from my opponents (which is precisely how I envisioned it going).
