One Mana Unicorn and Myriad! —June 7, 2022
A new unicorn came in Commander Legends 2, so I am including it in the deck. Steadfast Unicorn has been switched with Chameleon Colossus.
Also, the new card Legion Loyalty caught my eye in the new set. The card plays nice with many other cards in the deck such as Cathars' Crusade and Coat of Arms, so I wanted to try it in the deck. There weren’t a whole lot of choices that would make good switches for it, but I’ve decided that Wild Pair, although still a good card, has not put in the work that I expect it to at 6 mana. It often feels lackluster whenever I play it and often times I’ve either already played all my unicorns by the time it comes out, or my draw engines have already given me plenty of unicorns to work with. There is also the fact that it makes my turns take substantially longer. Oddly enough, I am rarely able to search for the creature that I want in the moment, as the power and toughness of creatures in the deck are all over the place, and Craterhoof doesn’t share its total power and toughness with any other creature in the deck.
Thus Wild Pair has been switched out for Legion Loyalty.
