vs Merrick M's 'Seeking Revenge' Angel Deck —July 30, 2012
Round 1 - (vs Seeking Revenge - Full Version) - My opening hand was pretty good, but I didn't feel it was aggressive enough and there was a lack of mana dorks; therefore: mulligan. The game was going slow, and before I knew what to do, she cast a Sublime Archangel and swung. I Fiend Hunter'd the Sublime Archangel, but she responded with an Emancipation Angel. Couple these things with the in-play Seraph Sanctuary and things really weren't looking good for me. I killed the Emancipation Angel, but she dredged it with a Defy Death and in short order, I was dead.
Round 2 & 3 - These rounds weren't fair, simply because merrickmonroe was either flood or pinched in mana. While I won these games, it felt a hollow victory. I know my opponent's deck was better than what I was seeing.
