This is the most budget deck you can possibly get unless you are playing a deck that is all basic lands. The whole idea of the deck is that Flame Jab alone = 1 damage, Flame Jab + Burning Vengeance = 3 damage, Flame Jab + The Flame of Keld ultimate = 3 damage and Flame Jab + Burning Vengeance + The Flame of Keld ultimate = 7 damage. And when you realize that Flame Jab = Mountain , and Mountain s are Oh Snap 80% of your deck...Not the fastest, but very consistent.

Tips and Tricks:

  1. The most important card is Flame Jab , followed by Burning Vengeance . ALWAYS have a Flame Jab

  2. The deck is helped a lot by the London mulligan. Convince your playgroup to try it out.

  3. Look out for graveyard hate.

  4. Mulligan heavily for your combo pieces, but I'll try and stop at 4 cards.

  5. If you're looking for a land, you have an 80% chance of finding it on your next draw

  6. Empty your hand before casting The Flame of Keld , then use it to refill 2 cards.
