(12) A new way forward —April 28, 2022
I took out Chandra's Embercat and Verdant Force. They were decent cards to put in back when I first made the deck all those years ago. Embercat could tap for a red, but it could only be spent on an Elemental creature or a Chandra Planeswalker. Which is a fine effect. Verdant created a 1/1 Saproling on each upkeep, not just my own. In a game with 4 players, that's 4 1/1's from when I end my turn and then start my next. But my newest additions are better, one of them greatly so.
My first addition, Murasa Sproutling has a decent ability where I can return a card with Kicker from my grayeyard to my hand. Now I only have two other cards with Kicker right now, those being Grow from the Ashes and Wild Onslaught, but I have ways of returning creatures from my graveyard to my hand. It might not be all that good right now, but as soon as I get some good Kicker cards, it'll be much better.
My other addition, Ancient Greenwarden allows me to play lands from my graveyard and causes triggered effects that occur because of land entering the battlefield to happen twice. Combine that, Risen Reef and Omnath, Locus of Rage and I'd have so much more value from that. Any thing with landfall will activate twice, so now my main goal with this deck is to look for suitable Kicker and Landfall cards
