Update After First Tournement —Dec. 7, 2016
I am trying to make the deck more competitive and have changed it to the list to reflect changes. Out of 2 rounds at a local modern tournament, I only won a single game but I got a bye 3rd round and didn't get to play again. I am looking at adding Path of Exile and Windswept Heath when I get the money. What else can I do to make it more competitive?
I like it; you've got a solid concept and a good aggressive curve. The only things I can suggest are Hardened Scales and some more/better two-colour land to improve your mana-base: Temple Garden and Windswept Heath if you're willing to throw money into the Magic hole, Sunpetal Grove and Temple of Plenty if not.
