Updated the deck a tad.. —June 20, 2014

Been running into problems with b/w control, having a finisher not to be blocked by a chump blocker, not get stuck with missing a black land, and running out of cards at hand. My friend and I tried to solve all of the problems as best as we could of. We took out Nemesis of Mortals he is a beast in this deck, but other creatures can be used as a more vital finishing card. Aka going over the top with flying without having to rely on a spell. Excited to see how it turns out tonight! Feedback would be great!! :)

I also play a list similar to yours. Scrolling through the JOU cards I found one pretty relevant: Reviving Melody . I oftentimes end up milling my whip and this cards brings it back. Plus it brings a creature back on top of that. Have to playtest it but sounds good in the first place. Also Tormented Thoughts might be a good sideboard card for control matchups? Sacrificing a Nemesis to disrupt their hand. Lastly, what are your thoughts on Pharika, God of Affliction ? She does not fit too well in this kind of deck imo.

Yeah Nyx Weaver is nice but its hard to replace something. Pharika, God of Affliction doesn't fit! wish she was a better fit. Can't really afford to exile my own creatures but as a 5/5 indestructable 3 drop it may find a way in this deck....

I say maybe replace 2 Nemesis of Mortals with 2 Nyx Weaver . I built this deck and have trouble getting quite enough creatures in the graveyard, and Nemesis always ends up being chump blocked anyway. Nyx Weaver could act as a way to get needed cards back or dredge every turn. Also good againsd Mono-Blue control devotion decks--can block Cloudfin Raptor , Judge's Familiar , and Nightveil Specter extremely well. I have a MUD player in my school, and I always lose a ton of life playing this deck to his early fliers, so Nyx Weaver can help fix that issue as well. Just my opinion though. Great deck!

Put nyx weaver in my junk deck and was not disappointed they did some work for me. And having something to chump/sac against master of the feast is awesome.

Maybe Fit Strength from the Fallen in there somewhere? it can really mess up an unexpecting foe's day.

Went against nearly this exact deck at fnm this week. Mana dorks are not a substitution for land. Its just not as competitive as i wish it was. Wheres your scry lands? And trample? Lotleth troll? Strength from the fallen is a good pump as a 1-2 of in the deck. I would cut out 1-2 deathrite shaman 1 satyr wayfinder and try fit in some nyx weaver and maybe cut down on your nemisis for a master of the feast
