Removed Storm-Kiln Artist, Battle Hymn and Murmuring Mystic for some more removal and card draw, something the deck seems lacking in. The extra tokens and ramp weren't really needed. Debating cutting Monastery Mentor as well. I think Elsha herself might be all the token generation the deck is going to need.
Crow_Umbra Those seem like pretty good ones! I've added them to the lengthy maybeboard. I love more open ended commanders like this and not the more strict ones we've been seeing recently but at the same time.... it makes it a lot harder to narrow stuff down. lol
Was playtesting this morning and it definitely needs more card draw. It can burn through hands really quickly. Though one turn I managed to buff Elsha to 14 power with double strike.... and flying. With Impact Tremors out. lol
And I'm curious to see what the new instant/sorcery subtype is, but I have a feeling it'll end up being like the Lessons from Strixhaven (and most other mechanics from recent sets). New and shiny for a week but then quickly forgotten in the unending onslaught of new releases. :(

I had a similar feeling when I was brewing and piloting Anhelo, the Painter. Spellslinger isn't as much my cup of tea, but I'm always interested in seeing new design space exploration. I have no doubt you'll find your groove for this deck as you get your reps in. I also have lengthy Maybe boards, but it's mostly for a quick reference for future swaps.
It's kind of a funky one, but if you need more draw, I'd recommend checking out Pulse of the Grid. It's from a cycle with Pulse of the Forge. Both are kinda situational and hoop-jumpy, but have that pseudo Buyback potential.
I wonder if the new subtype would be like an option to cast the instant/sorcery spell as a Manifest creature instead. Idk, I'm definitely intrigued, but hope it isn't something like Lesson.

Interested in seeing how your deck evolves, especially once we get some more Tarkir spoilers. MaRo stated in his Tarkir teaser that we're getting new Instant & Sorcery subtypes.
Lol you have plenty of spells to choose from for a deck like this as is, but I'd recommend checking out a few more:
Scapegoat - You'll be making plenty of creature tokens for the additional cost.
Soul Partition - One of my favorite flex pieces for removal or protection
Untimely Malfunction - A budget Deflecting Swat with some additional utility.
