Overall went 3-0. Was a good debut of the deck.
Round 1
Opponent: White Weenies
Game 1: Picked 'em apart with Thoughtseize and removal, leading to Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker getting in for 4 several turns in a row.
Game 2: Same thing as game 1.
Round 2
Opponent: Abzan Midrange
Game 1: Controlled the board well enough to get there with 4 zombies from Empty the Pits.
Game 2: His Ajani, Mentor of Heroes went unchecked and he was up to 122 life. However, this was right as Elspeth, Sun's Champion was stabilizing my board. She ticked up form 1 to 8, creating a ton of tokens. Empty the Pits also created 9 zombies. When Elspeth ulted, the game was over.
Round 3
Opponent: Abzan Aggro/Chip
Game 1: I got land flooded and was able to see that the opponent was playing heavy life gain with some control elements along with efficient creatures for threats. He took it easy.
Game 2: Controlled the board well enough and got out Elspeth, Sun's Champion on an empty board. He couldn't find an answer and got overrun with soldiers.
Game 3: Back and forth for a long time. I was down to 9 when he was at 20something. A couple of Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker and Liliana Vess to grab more answers proved to be better than top-decking an answer. Barely got there.
