Sideboard

This is a standard best of 3 mono red aggro deck.

strategy

The main strategy is all about using Burst Lightning, Shock, and Lightning Strike for versatile damage dealing, and Witchstalker Frenzy to deal with creatures that are too much for the other spells, or hitting your own Screaming Nemesis, transferring the damage to your opponent to shut off life-gain and/or close-out the game. creating growing threats such as Emberheart Challenger and Heartfire Hero whose abilities activate during combat from Manifold Mouse, Rockface Village, or from Monstrous Rage. In the event that Hired Claw is in your hand you can use him first since he grows bigger every turn, creating a huge threat until it is dealt with. This lets you hold off on playing other creatures, forcing your opponent to deal with it alone and letting you have other creatures in hand once they do. Monastery Swiftspear is a haste creature that grows temporarily from your spells, this one feels less significant but is a good card on its own. The late game threat is Screaming Nemesis. This creature has haste and can hit your opponent if blocked, shutting of their life-gain, or take out another creature.

I've noticed I tend to switch up the removal I use and occasionally take out Lightning Strike altogether depending on the toughness of creatures or if I would get more value out of hating on nonbasics with Sunspine Lynx.

sideboard

Tersa Lightshatter increases the mana curve of the deck but allows for more versatility by cycling out lands or less useful cards.

Magmatic Hellkite seems to fight against Sunspine Lynx in my sideboard for punishing nonbasic lands vs. slowing them down.

Wild Ride triggers mice, but not as well as Monstrous Rage.
