BotaNickill, Moonshadow is one of my favorite recent cards, though it definitely feels like a puzzle looking for a home. Like you, I really struggled to find the right fit for it, but this list uses it pretty well.
While the deck has great synergy, a few draws still feel pretty clunky and slow. Most of that awkwardness comes from struggling to get Darklight Phoenix out of the graveyard and back into play. Testing shows there are still some tweaks left to make, but the deck actually did surprisingly well when I accidentally queued it into a few Pioneer matches on Arena!
Even if it isn't the top tier deck in Standard right now, it is still a total blast to pilot.
I did find another really nice shell to put Moonshadow into, though it still needs a little work too. I'll link that here if you want to check it out: Dredge Not Required. Turns out flipping a Moonshadow that's been manifested with Abhorrent Oculus or copying it from the graveyard with Likeness Looter is really good (both are a 7/7 because the ETB trigger is missed)!!!!

I've been trying to find a home for the Moonshadow ever since it came out. Would love to see it be competitive in standard alongside the new Darklight Phoenix. I know of a Mardu Moonshadow deck floating around on Standard, but I haven't tried it myself. Have you had a chance to play this much? How is it playing out for you? It looks like you have some good stuff going on here. Dark Matter Manipulator seems like a good add. I'll try to build it on Arena and try it out.
