You are correct! The main win con is to never let your opponent play another turn. That being said the deck does need an alt win con. Something I am working towards. As of right now this iteration is just me vomiting my thoughts into 60 cards! I have another brain child in a deck that uses a similar method to lock an opponent out but it does very well at winning alternatively (in Izzet). This iteration is probably a little light on interaction. Most combo decks I run about 6 pieces of protection or interaction as statistically that should produce at least 1 by turn 3.

Simic Ascendancy is a brilliant win-con alternative. Excellent suggestion! And your suggestion of The Ozolith as an excellent form of protection as well. Keeping the counters around to hopefully use them later is a great way to steal a game out of no where!

It may be worth exploring the deck as more of a creatures toolbox kit with some interesting lines for winning. I've always wanted to figure out a way to break Sage of Hours and more recently Jackal, Genius Geneticist. This shell may be a good starting place for both!!!

I'll work on the mana base once I have a decent deck outlined. Just trying to keep track of pip ratios at this point! I'll probably end up with some combo of Botanical Sanctum, Breeding Pool, Dreamroot Cascade, and Yavimaya Coast with a few basics for those pesky land destruction decks.

DubMC thank you! I agree with the removal/protection sentiment. I started with those things then realized the whole deck is protection. You have to stop what it's doing or it's going to win! Either by playing or letting a Sage of Hours hit the graveyard with an Agatha's Soul Cauldron in play or big beats.

So far the deck is a blast but I'd love suggestions or recommendations. Looking forward to what this deck morphs into!!!
