"And when all this land is wasted, where do we go?"
-Thalakos Lament
"Into the Infinite."
-Jace Beleren
Jace Beleren, the infamous mind mage and guildpact, has dug up some ancient secrets that will change his world forever. By learning to sever the mana requirements of his mortal mind, he is able to stand omniscient over his foes as soon as turn 4!
To play this deck properly, the key is mulligans. Mulligan until you get one of the artifacts or have less than four cards in the draw. With this, you will be able to play the artifact, speeding up your oath combo by two more turns. With this, you play Jace and Mana Severance on turn 4, using severance to get rid of all the lands in your deck. After you have severed the land from your deck, use Jace's +1 ability to mill the top two cards of your own deck and draw a card. Due to Jace's static effect, you win the game! If you do not get one of the artifacts, that's okay. Just play islands from your hand until you have six mana, then sweep the table with the aforementioned combo.
The chances that you draw one of the artifacts before reaching 3 cards is about 75%, so about 3/4 games you can win by turn 4 and the other 1/4 you win on turn six (this is assuming no counterspells or instant-speed planeswalker removal). Make your friends sweat by giving them a timer at the start of the game, getting in their head makes it so much more fun.
This game is creatureless, but if you can survive until turn 4 (or six if you don't get an artifact), you win the game!
IMPORTANT!!!: Play Jace on the same turn as Mana severance, or you give your opponent the chance to push him back to the command zone and impose command tax on him.
