Example: The player who is being controlled still chooses whether he or she leaves to visit the restroom, trades a card to someone else, agrees to an intentional draw, or calls a judge about an error or infraction.

Hey! I've been away for a while, but I'd love to take a look at your decks, see what you're brewing up, and comment if I have any spicy suggestions.

I mostly play standard, but on occasion I'll dabble is most any format.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Hey, yeah I can take a look, but I really only have advice for your one commander deck. Luckily I also own an Atraxa deck, albeit an infect deck, but I have always been a fan of the super-friends build. Let's go!

Hey, I like to help you with your decks. But my experience with MtG limits me to stick to your commander deck.

If you would like to upvote my Sisay deck, then I would really appreciate it.

Sure, I'll gladly check out your decks! I'm no master Modern player, but I can certainly help with your Atraxa.

Hey there, I will take a look at your decks later on today when I have the time.

From my quick glance at your edh deck however and a read through most of the comments, I agree that your Atraxa deck needs more ramp and some improvements to the mana base. I also think 28 planeswalkers is a bit much as well and that number should maybe be decreased to make room for more artifact ramp and what not.

I will provide some more in depth feedback after i'm off from work later today.

Our decks are pretty similar. Your deck is very good already but some suggestions that I would have is:

  1. I found Nettle Sentinel and Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx to be win more cards. Looking at your deck, it doesn't look like you necessarily have anything that great to substitute Nettle Sentinel with right now. However, I would very much recommend that you swap Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx with a Westvale Abbey  Flip (the colorless land is fine I manage to run it in an Abzan deck). Westvale Abbey  Flip acts as a win condition and has gotten me out of many tight places and let me pull out a win.

  2. Your Sideboard. I feel like you arn't really using the 4 Collected Company and 4 Chord of Calling to their full sideboard boosting potential. If you have a sideboard full of 2 or 3 mana creatures that hate on decks then when you sideboard 1 in, it almost becomes as if you are sideboarding in a playset of them. So I would reccommend Kataki, War's Wage instead of Stony Silence and stuff like that.

Hope my advice helped and remember to check out my deck too!

Nice deck, you can check out my elf deck for ideas if you want (it's more of a traditional elf deck) and you can always leave suggestions on mine and remember to +1 Upvote if you like it.

Anyway, my brother had a Biovisionary deck he made once just for fun and he went all in on the Biovisionary aspect and I remember it was really useful for him to have Living Wish to get Biovisionary from his sideboard so that it didn't pull it out of his deck in case someone kept on killing them, however, I don't think that is too relevant to your deck. However, I really think that you should definitely consider cards like Collected Company and Chord of Calling as they can tutor up a Biovisionary if you have Mirrorweave and they are just staple cards of almost every elf deck anyway.

Hope the advice helped, and make sure to check out my deck!

You can check out my elf deck for ideas, it's less budget (I call it budget-ish) than yours and thus much more powerful. You can check out my elf deck for ideas if you want and you can always leave suggestions on mine and remember to +1 Upvote if you like it.

Anyway, suggestions for your deck, Ezuri, Renegade Leader and even Joraga Warcaller (It's, even more budget) as better win conditions on turn 4 or 5 than Craterhoof Behemoth also you don't really need Nissa Revane for lifegain, if you are able to gain a significant amount of life then you are just better off having a win condition instead and just winning. One Westvale Abbey  Flip for like $3 can get you out of some tight scenarios and act as a win condition. Also Elvish Champion is more of a sideboard card.

Hope the advice helps and make sure to check out my deck too!

If you are willing to make the investment, then Chalice of the Void is a killer card against storm and a lot of decks really. Leyline of Sanctity absolutely wrecks storm and you could cheat it out and basically win on the spot or sacrifice your artifacts to get the white mana.

A very cool deck. Perhaps Traumatize or Mulch would be good in the deck to self-mill yourself.

September 10, 2017 8:01 a.m.

aleister23 that's a pretty good option that I could consider and Birthing Pod is a good card too, I would just need more creatures to enable them. Ironically, now I can hope Wizards bans more cards so my deck can get better (just don't ban any cards in my modern decks)!

Voolfina I know! There are so many cards you could use in this deck, you really could make two decks. I appreciate the suggestions and appreciate that you like mine and will use it as a resource for yours.

You could probably do one of each, Kataki, War's Wage is good because you can get it for 5 mana with Chord of Calling whereas Stony Silence you just have to rely on drawing it.

NicS18 and bushido_man96 I appreciate the suggestions and those are really good suggestions, unfortunately, I just don't want to spend $20 or more on a card in my commander decks.

How is Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx working for you? I had it as a 2 of then a 1 of then took it out as it mana screwed me in terms of colored mana a couple of times. Also I found it to be a "win more" card, if I wasn't doing too well then I couldn't use it to help but if I was doing well already and didn't need mana anyway then it just provided extra mana. Then again my deck is Abzan and yours is Selesnyea. Also Since you now have 4 Chord of Calling main-deck, I highly suggest you take out the 3 Lead the Stampede out of your sideboard and replace it with cards easily found by Chord of Calling that wreck decks like Melira, Sylvok Outcast, Kataki, War's Wage, Scavenging Ooze, Spellskite, and Aven Mindcensor

What about an even better illegal deck than this: 60 Chancellor of the Dross
